MS in Entomology 2023
I graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2021 with a B.S. in Entomology with a concentration in Insect Biology and Ecology. During my undergraduate career, I worked in Dr. Astri Wayadande’s lab studying the biodiversity of arthropods in the central plains of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
Currently in my graduate career in Dr. Luckhart’s lab, I’m studying the mosquito, Anopheles stephensi, a definitive host of the malaria parasite, Plasmodium falciparum, and the impacts of biogenic amines and how they affect transmission of malaria to mammalian hosts.
