2020-2022, University of Idaho
I was a junior majoring in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology and worked in Dr. Luckhart’s lab. to help me grow my knowledge and skills as I further my education in biochemistry, entomology, cellular and molecular biology through hands on work. I found malaria parasite transmission extremely interesting. I worked on a project related to a mutation in nearly 600 million people that may have been strongly selected for by malaria. My interest in biochemistry and molecular biology continue to grow I’m hoping to apply to a post graduate program after I graduate.
