Audrey Morris
I received my B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Idaho in 2025. During my time as an undergraduate student, I studied in a laboratory and primarily focused on antibiotic interactions in relation to bacterial species of the human gut microbiome. I was a member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM) – University of Idaho Chapter, fulfilling the position of Secretary. In the future I plan to pursue a graduate degree in chemistry and begin a career in patent law with a focus on pharmaceuticals.
Working in Dr. Luckhart’s Laboratory has given me diverse experience in multicellular organisms and understanding vector-borne diseases. This position has provided the opportunity to assist in combating malaria, a global health issue. I am glad to have the opportunity to work with an internationally recognized lab!
